About Todd Easterling 

Todd Easterling is an author and businessperson, discovered by the Pinder Lane Garon-Brooke Agency of John Grisham fame.  In addition to publishing, he has interests in real estate, avocado farming, and technology development /investing. Todd's personal interests include environmental concerns, animal rights and de-extinction, technology, history, and the arts. 

He has worked with leading entertainment and technology companies—a highlight being the reception of a group Emmy from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Most recently, Todd completed Genetic World—a sweeping epic novel of 444,000 words encompassing real history, real science, and a narrative arc that balances interesting facts with high concept suspense.  Since publication, Genetic World has been in the top 1% of sales on Amazon in the USA (digital/Kindle edition). And Genetic World has landed as #1 on numerous Best Seller lists in the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia—surpassing ten Stephen King novels, Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, George R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones, and other books. 

After researching the history of some of the world's most influential people for his last book, in 2025 Todd decided to research his own family's history using ancestry.com and other tools. He was surprised to discover that he can claim two Knighthoods and one Baron title, and is the direct bloodline descendent great-grandson of nine Kings and nine Queens — on both sides of his family, through his grandmothers. He is the 30th great-grandson of King/Roman Emperor Charlemagne, 25th great-grandson of King William the Conqueror, 22nd great-grandson of King Henry III, 24th great-grandson of Kind Henry II, 24th great-grandson of King Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine,  28th Great-Grandson of King Louis VI of France ,  29th Great-Grandson of King Philip I of France ,   27th great-grandson of King Fulk V of Jerusalem, 31st great-grandson of Pepin III, and 15th great-grandson of Sir James de Berkley, Knight and member of the Berkley Dynasty.    Most interesting to Todd, one of his great-grandparents  approved, financed, and initiated the construction of Notre-Dame in 1163.  King Louis VII of France, first husband of Todd's 27th great-grandmother  Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine,  appointed Archbishop Maurice de Sully, who designed the cathedral, and supported the early Gothic plans that shaped Notre-Dame into one of the world’s greatest sacred buildings, which is featured in his novel Genetic World. And another great-grandfather (and  Eleanor of Aquitaine's grandson), King Henry III, built Westminster Abbey, also featured in Genetic World. Todd has three daughters, twenty-two year old twins, and an adopted daughter who is 27 (from Russia when she was two).
