Villa Tuscana is owned and operated by the Easterling family, of San Diego California. Since 1987 we have managed the purchase and sales of homes in San Diego County. After living in the La Costa/Carlsbad, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, and Encinitas areas, we purchased an estate and avocado farm in North County, just 20 minutes to Vista, Oceanside, San Marcos, Escondido, Fallbrook, Temecula, and Murrieta. Although Villa Tuscana is just three and a half miles from Interstate 15, visitors often comment that "it feels like it is further out in the country," or even "in the rolling hills of Tuscany, Italy."
About Todd Easterling
Todd Easterling is an author and businessperson, discovered by the Pinder Lane Garon-Brooke Agency of John Grisham fame. In addition to publishing, he has interests in real estate, avocado farming, and technology development /investing. Todd's personal interests include environmental concerns, animal rights and de-extinction, technology, history, and the arts.
He has worked with leading entertainment and technology companies—a highlight being the reception of a group Emmy from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Most recently, Todd completed Genetic World—a sweeping epic novel of 444,000 words encompassing real history, real science, and a narrative arc that balances interesting facts with high concept suspense. Since publication, Genetic World has been in the top 1% of sales on Amazon in the USA (digital/Kindle edition). Todd has three daughters, twenty-two year old twins, and an adopted daughter who is 27 (from Russia when she was two).
We are proudly and lovingly restoring and upgrading a Spanish/Italian hilltop home, which is over half a century old. The property is surrounded by groves of avocados, as well as guavas, oranges, lemons, persimmons, mangos, fuji apples, and pomegranates. And has a stream and well providing water year-round.
The house has spectacular hilltop views of Pala Mesa Ranch and the mountains toward Temecula Wine Country, and is frequented by Bobcats, Red-Tailed Hawks, Coyotes, and occasional visits by a pair of Peacocks from Sandra Bullock's former house and avocado farm next door, which she sold in 2022. In the Spring, Cliff Swallows return to Villa Tuscana from wintering in South America and build their nests under the eaves of the house . . . in the exact same places.
